- All proceeds go to help Make a Kid Smile, Inc., a non-profit corporation
- dedicated to providing childrens' hospitals with custom-built multimedia SVGA
- computers loaded with educational/adventure games, graphics, drawing programs,
- stereo speakers, Sound card, mouse, user-friendly menu systems and high-tech
- graphics display programs. Make a Kid Smile, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit
- corporation and your donation is 100% tax deductible. Everyone associated
- with Make a Kid Smile, Inc. volunteers their time, efforts and talents
- out of love for the kids. No salaries are paid and all donations directly
- benefit the children.
-
- Most of these kids are 3 to 12 years old and, in addition to the usual
- frightening illnesses, many suffer from traumatic physical and/or sexual
- abuse. Their injuries can take years to heal and ordinary hospital
- equipment does not usually include computers for education, art and
- entertainment. Anyone who doubts the kids' level of appreciation for this
- amazing introduction to computers, is invited to join us when we make
- delivery of our next system. I can assure you, the kids love these things,
- they learn quick and they stay thrilled for a long time.
-
- Computers may not cure physical illness, but they do cure boredom and
- confinement, and they do make the kids SMILE. We have already provided
- three custom-designed SVGA "Kids Computers" to three different childrens'
- hospitals, all of which are a huge success (Texas Childrens Hospital,
- Depelchin Childrens Center and Brenners Childrens Hospital).
-
- These facilities handle thousands of kids each year, so our amazing
- Make a Kid Smile "Dream Machines" (computer systems) get plenty of use
- serving thousands of children, and they've been running without interruption
- since 1989.
-
- Youngsters love these gadgets so much, we want to supply at least one
- childrens hospital each year. So far, we've been successful, but this year
- we really need your help.
-
- As a small token of our appreciation, we provide the best thing to
- happen to ANSI art since it was invented, a uniquely powerful user-friendly
- management/display program called SMILE 2.5 (or the optional companion door
- program) and the largest collection of quality ANSI graphics that I've ever
- seen! (This is a "must have" for all ANSI lovers).
-
- Help make a kid smile and pick up the best ANSI Display/Edit/Library
- package on the planet! Satisfaction guaranteed!
